Wintervention

In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, it was clear that Tourism Nova Scotia would need to promote winter staycations to Nova Scotia. There was just one problem: before the pandemic, we had never really promoted Nova Scotia as a winter destination.

So with no existing footage to work with—and media deadlines that weren’t going to wait for the first snow to fall— we decided to take a different approach. We created a spokesperson whose sole focus was to shake Nova Scotians out of the winter doldrums and encourage them to explore their province.
