I’m an award-winning creative director and writer based in Nova Scotia, Canada.
Over the past 13 years, I’ve worked with some of the most recognizable brands in the region, including Tourism Nova Scotia, Eastlink, Subway, Dalhousie University, and O’Regans Automotive Group.
When I’m not working on my next campaign, you can usually find me playing music, hitting the gym, or struggling my way around a curling rink.
The Basics
Rhyme + Reason brings the art and science of marketing into harmony. And I’m in charge of the art side of things. (But let’s be real, there’s a bit of science involved in that as well.)
We’re the new kid on the block in the agency world. Stay tuned!
RHYME + REASON
CHIEF CREATIVE OFFICER
2025 - PRESENT
m5 THE AGENCY
Creative Director
2022 – 2025
Associate Creative Director (2020-2022); Senior Copywriter (2016-2020)
For almost ten years, I had the pleasure of working with and learning from an incredibly talented group of passionate and creative individuals at one of the largest independent agencies in the country.
Together, we created award-winning and memorable work for clients including Tourism Nova Scotia, Efficiency Nova Scotia, Nova Scotia Gaming Corporation, Dalhousie University, Subway, the Discovery Centre, Mount Saint Vincent University, and the Christmas Tree Council of Nova Scotia.
Audiochuck
Consultant
2021 – 2023
For a few years, I held a contract as a freelance consultant for Audiochuck, an Indianapolis-based media company that produces some of the world’s most popular and beloved true crime podcasts, including Crime Junkie.
This contract gave me the opportunity to tell victim-focused true crime stories that kept listeners at the edge of their seats.
Chester + Company
Copywriter
2013 – 2016
I actually started my time at Chester + Company as an Account Manager. But that fun fact usually gets me some side-eye from other creatives, so I try not to bring it up too much.
While cutting my teeth at C+C, I learned a lot and produced a lot of fun creative for our clients, including Eastlink, Efficiency Nova Scotia, Canadian Country Music Week, and O’Regan’s Automotive Group.
I also learned how dangerous it is to have an office directly above a restaurant. Lunch budget, be damned.
